You've captured a great, mature sense of their dynamic. It was very enjoyable to read something so in-character that could easily fit into the canon timeline (with or without the movie references). Excellent job!

Ok, so this story was a bit awkward - if only because it honestly didn't feel as if their relationship had quite reached a mutual level of desire that would suddenly lead them to confront their feelings under the circumstances they were in. It seemed sort of...artificial I suppose, compared to how you typically make it appear so natural between them.

Still, it was sweet in a way that demonstrated how true love actually manifests. Scenes like this give meaning to the concept of "for better ir worse". Believe you me, I know what I'm talking about.

I love how intimate this was. It's so refreshing to read. You have no idea. Just. Kagome taking care of Inuyasha in this way and him letting her speaks volumes. This was an amazing read. Thank you.

Wow, this was an interesting flipping of roles, making Kagome the protector. While I gotta say the primary thing you had them focusing on wasn't what I would have preferred, you still did a great job writing it. The writing here was just outstanding. I didn't see any typos or grammar errors, which is great for something this long, and the characters were perfectly depicted as they are in the cannon.

The only negative thing is one meaningless line where Inuyasha wishes Sango was around but then thinks she wouldn't be able to help because the damaged Hiraikotsu. That's just flat out wrong, and Inuyasha would know that. The Hiraikotsu isn't Sango's only weapon. She's still a walking arsenal and has plenty of other tools she could rely on besides her primary one.

Also while your action scenes were as well written as everything else here, they were a bit too short for my taste. But I understand they were not the primary focus of the story, so it really doesn't matter. Great job overall.

This fic is very different, very unique and a stand out on its own. The plot is very original, and the while the character is in character, I feel that they are perceived with a whole new, fresh, original look. I feel that the stereotypes that makes Kagome and Inuyasha are gone, and you replace them with what you think they are... If that makes sense. I don't really know why, but reading them in this fic makes me feel like they are a whole new person than the ones that I've been reading - different in a good way. Anyhow, thanks for the read :) very interesting

Ok so Forget Me Not was the first ever story of yours that I read. It was also I believe the SECOND Inu/Kag fic I'd read and actually became so engrossed that I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning until I finished it! lol I think this one and Kigatsuyoi by Destinies Entwined got me hooked on Inu/Kag as a pairing and now I can't get enough. o.O Anyway, yeah, I ramble, apparently...

This story was riveting. What an ORIGINAL concept. And the way that you portrayed Inuyasha's insecurities made my heart wrench in my chest. I wanted to make it all better for him lol! The tender and sensitive way Kagome took care of him was so true to life and so REAL. This is a definite re-read.
