Ahh I love this! It’s been a while since I read it, but it still brings me joy to this day. A very wonderfully laid out story. The ending was spectacular, loose ends tied up while leaving so much more at the tips of our imaginations.

I just re-read this story for the 5th or 6th time since I first read it in 2011. I don't think I ever left a review, so here I go.

The backstory of Youko and Midori gets me every time. It's tragic and I wish these two would've been able to lead a happy life. Also, what draws me back to this story is the film noir feel that you captured so perfectly. I've never read another story that gives me that feeling, and I love how witty, sarcastic and cynic Natsuki, Shizuru and Mai are - yet their anime personalities still shine through. I can actually see them being that way, if they grew up and lived in a less than stellar environment.

You're a talented writer and you were only in high school when you wrote this gripping story. I hope you never stopped writing, even if you didn't publish your stories; you must be damn awesome by now, if you continued. Wherever you are, I hope life is treating you well!

P.S: You mentioned in one of your author notes that your whole family is in the medical field and I'm curious to know if you ended up getting into a medical career as well, haha.

Very nice story! It intrigued me from the beginning till the end and I barely take a break while reading it. I thought the story was predictable until it's not so predictable.
Needless to say, I love the surprise with your little twists.
