I have to comment after reading your note at the top even though this is an older story. I took a creative writing class in college and the paper was where do you see yourself in 15 years and how do you get there. Everyone who wrote a "glory/perfection" paper had to re write them because that isn't reality. Lives have lots of bumps and twists. That's what makes your stories good. Too much fluff and no substance is boring. Yours are stories I favorite and reread.
