o.O okay that last part about mustang wanting someone dead and ed managing to get past that strikes me as really really ridiculously f-ed up and creepy. then again i don't know the context of the series. but it's just you pointed out the kid is a kid and he's just inept. murder is an awfully extreme way to get rid of someone.
you do a great job of mixing normal things and humor with the underlying violence inherent in these worlds though such that it all comes across a good deal darker but in a more shadowy sort of way that i like. and again it works and quite well.

still there was a good deal of mood whiplash which i hadn't expected even with the genres... not that i don't like the story though and i guess it's good that i was caught just as off guard as the characters.

also i don't even know these characters but the thoughts and characterizations come across really well and quite believably.

your prowess at keeping the reader entertained and informed, while always pressing the plot line resolutely forward, is astounding. I honestly hope you write another chapter to this; it seems incomplete, somehow.

Oh you MUST continue writing about this universe, you have them all so well-protrayed. And it's in these moments when we know the high chemistry surrounding them. Bye

Interrupted is a good name for this because that's just what the ending feels like - interrupted. Feels like there should be at least another chapter or two to this. You write Roy and Ed very well but you left us hanging with what happened to Peters. This mystery needs to be solved so Roy and Ed can go back to enjoying sexy tiems! Not to mention that Ed didn't get to prove his theory about alchemy making alchemists a bit crazy or that Roy seems to have an oddly sensitive foot! :)

Yeah it turned out nothing like the drunk Ed we were hoping for. You disappoint me. LOL I should try myself, really!
