While I'm glad to see this story continue, I do feel unsatisfied with the last few chapters. It's a lot of events happening in sequence, but the connective tissue is missing; there's little breathing room, and characters aren't given time to develop or react to the changing status quo. Heck, the status quo isn't properly established.

For example, Siesta joins the noble troupe going treasure hunting. They don't react to her surviving Count Mott? Is she working at the academy again, despite Vergil implying that she would be a wanted criminal if she revealed herself to be alive? The noble troupe doesn't act with suspicion that Vergil turned her into a monster, or otherwise react at the political ramifications of a commoner suddenly developing magic? Siesta has no qualms about openly using heretical magic, which should be a death sentence in Halkeginia?

I'll happily continue reading this story as it is, but I'd be lying if I said it couldn't use a rewrite, especially focusing on world building and character development.

I'm enjoying the story so far, even though I don't know anything on Familiar of Zero. Vergil is the epitome of stone cold badass as I like him to be and I love the combined and altered lore from the glossary in ch. 1.

Also, you said you were hoping that this fic gets a tropes page, right? I just made one for it yesterday. You can find it on the fanworks page for Familiar of Zero and Video Games. Anyway, I hope you decide to continue this story some day.

Ok im been way too harsh on this story for simply not giving Vergil a proper sword... my problem is that I'm just so used to Vergil using a Katana or something like that and I'm used to Veril using smaller and quicker weapons, so I do apologize not so likability towards Veril not using the weapons that I'm more comfortable with him using.
