You definitely did Lauren justice. She is such a tragic character and you have done very well to convey that emotion. A human in a Fae world and to be compared to a pet in such a demeaning way, not only by the Fae who already feel that way but also by Bo.
There's not much for me to say except great job, and I hope you can write more snippets of Lauren' insights, your writing has a nice ring to deliver her story.

Umm okay first off I feel just like you do about the lack of Lauren and I agree she has a lot of depth to her. And OMG...SMH did you ever do her justice. I dont think we have enough on Lauren and her background. But hey you have something here. I like it. I can see Lauren as a child with books and so fourth.

Wow, this was a delight, (although also devastating), to read. You say you hope you did Lauren's character justice; I think you have captured her precisely. The contrast you created between Lauren as a "puppy" and Lauren's "dog collar" necklace was quite brilliant. In fact, I think you've changed how I will think of her when I watch her on the show from now on...
