Well it's now been the 10th time since I've re-read this story annnnnnd I'M STILL IN LOVE WITH IT! I know there is still a lot more to happen in the story but I feel like you've still covered a lot. I'm very intrigued to find out how the Sango and Hiei dynamic will continue to grow. Even the thought of how Hiei will react when it comes time for Sango to actually partake in the tournament. I've had so many scenarios go through my mind, it's been getting my nerves on edge. I enjoy how you incorporate the actually story line to fit yours. As I've mentioned before, you are a very talented writer with such amazing ideas! Can't wait to see more from you!

Aaaaaaayyyyyyy this story got my attention right quick. Sango replacing the masked fighter as the 5th member? Sold! Curious how Hiei will handle his attraction and if he'll attempt courting Sango when she proves to be the opposite of pathetic. Should be funny. Especially when Sango has never considered to have more than a friendly companionship with any demon that's not Kilala. Looking forward to seeing how much more badass Sango gets with modern training in the yu yu world. Couldn't help but notice you changed her height in this one too. Do you think Hiei would not like strong women that are taller than him or is that just a personal preference of yours?

First off, I just want to say that I'm ridiculously happy - ecstatic even! - that you're back with an update! If I could I would hug each and every one of those pesky plot bunnies... *Grins and laughs*

As for the chapter itself... Wow! Damn! You definitely came back with a BANG! I love the tension! The awkwardness, the denial. Sango is very, very in character here I think, which is why I love this story. And the pairing too.

I think this particular pairing wouldn't work is Sango was different, written differently by another author's hand, honestly...

Hiei was the epitome of an Asshole here. Gods! I think I had a grimace on my face the entire second half of the chapter. Can we say OUCH? Like FUUUCK! I've been hit by bamboo before (Hiei's Stick of Pain and Suffering was bamboo, right?) and it fucking smarts like a motherfucker.

I honestly don't know how Sango held back. In her shoes I probably would've gotten so angry that I would have lunged at him after so many grueling hits. I can't believe he told her to run... *Angry pout* Bastard! He's a sexy bastard, yes, but still a bastard.

Hmm, in Sango's shoes I would also feel very, very, very vulnerable in her position too. Being trained by him after that disaster of a challenge... Yikes. I don't think I would have the guts to follow him anywhere, so mad respect for Sango for facing Hiei when he's trying to break her.

He WAS trying to break her, right? Or am I just reading too much into it?

But all in all, a splendid chapter! I can't wait to see more! Hell, I can hardly wait to see how their relationship - if it can be called as such... pfft! - develops. I know tension and hatred can easily turn and twist into something else entirely.

I'm very curious as to Hiei's 'beast' that Genkai mentioned. From the situation... does that mean Hiei's beast views Sango to be in some way worthy? I'm very curious to see how you interpret the trope-trend of inner beasts and primal instincts. It will be intriguing.

I hope to see all of your InuyashaxYu Yu Hakusho fics finished some day! I'll wait foever if I have to (what I'm currently doing). It's a shame that this crossover is no longer as popular as it once was. Everyone's moved on!

Wonderful follow up. I do hope you continue with more. The fight scene was intense as per usual and the last bit was an interesting twist.

You're getting everyone in character to a surprising degree. So major props there. And Kilala showing Hiei trust after he saved her and her master was a good call. Although with him reading her mind and learning of Kagome this draws quite a problem for hik if he tells this to Koenma. If word got out of a time traveling sell, countless demons or ambitious humans could use it for their own gain and we all know how timey whimey slimey altering time can be.

Keep up the fine work! Hiei is a better man than Sango Anyday.
