So I wasn't even going to read this story. I automatically disregard anything but an 'M' rating. But as I was going to read your "Secret Bird", for probably the 50th, time I noticed it's mention. And this story is amazing. It's not only well written but it's intriguing and heartfelt. Very nicely done.

Wow! I never saw this episode, but I'm so touched by your re-make that I want to watch it immediately.. again, this was so deep and intense... and emotional and provocative.. I was spellbound from the first chapter, and I've already re-read this. You've got such a talent. I hope that you continue to write such incredible fanfics. Thanks for sharing.

This has been one of my all time favourite stories. Absolutely beautiful and absorbing. So well written and you capture the characters completely. You can see it happening, playing out, as you read it. Amazing. I really wish this had been the episode instead of the one they actually used! Amazing. Please write more Scully/Reyes fics.

I thought this chapter was excellent writing. It almost made me want to watch the episode, but I cheated and read the Wiki entry. I might still watch it if I get confused as I go along.

My only concern is that I'm now assuming this is AU for seasons eight and nine, i.e. no MSR, no William (fine by me, I hated that plot arc with the fire of a thousand suns). Because if William is in the picture, Scully's last thoughts would not be of Monica Reyes.
