I'm not familiar with the story you used for inspiration, but I really enjoyed this one. Hawt and the tension built nicely - and agonizingly, which I enjoyed too.

Havent read this till the end but as soon as you mentioned that this was inspired by a kakashi sakura story, I THINK I KNOW WHICH ONE YOURE TALKING ABOUT. its 50ish chapters long right? Ahh, i sometimes let my mind wonder about the story. It was beautifully written and so much tears was shed *cries

I enjoyed reading this one way too much. Do you know the feeling when you finish reading a really good book and you just don't feel like letting it all go just yet and keep wishing you had a sequel? This is the feeling I got. Maybe because camps are always awesome, especially if you've been to some and brought some romantic memories back...
I even got an idea to write a camp-related fanfic myself. If I do, I'll definitely list you and your story as my inspiration :)

P.S. Maybe one little flaw in your story was that there were some actionless time windows. Don't remember how it was exactly, but something like "they haven't spoken for the month". I know how hard it is to fill up everything when you're writing a half-year fanfic, so I feel you! But I was thinking next time I would probably shorten up my stories, I think it will make it easier to read, so maybe you'll find this idea useful as well:)

I have mixed feelings regarding this story. I liked it and it was a good read, but I know the 'original' fanfiction that inspired yours and it is pretty close to it at times. There is a line between inspiration and theft and I'm not sure whether you crossed that line or not.

This was really great! Normally, I don't read ANBU!Shikamaru fics only because I don't feel he has the motivation to be one, but this was lovely! I really liked the ANBU universe you've created. We don't know much about becoming ANBU, but you've really done a nice job with creating something that seems plausible. Awesome!

I love how you wrote their relationship. They didn't burst into it, they slowly realized it and felt it. I also love the whole "the first time" theme. Touching and sweet.
