Went looking for Jack/Elizabeth stories and by far, this is the best I have ever read. The slow burn was paced just right and the plot was unique. I really loved all the parts when Jack was serious—it was such a refreshing change of pace of his character. Five stars.

The Sparrabeth Chronicles is a group of die hard and loyal fans of the Sparrabeth fandom. I personally have been with it since its inception a decade ago, but there seems to be a current interest in the fandom. Many fans were asking "where are the authors?" or "where can I find the best fanfics of Sparrabeth?" So we all knew stories were definitely out there, and therefore brainstormed an idea how to answer those frequent queries and supply the fanfictions to them. We did it by forming something like web-based "book club" to appease this new "Sparrabeth Renaissance" over at that Tumblr site. Each week on a Wednesday, one of our Sparrabeth Chronicles members takes a turn in rotation and presents a Sparrabeth Fanficion of their choice. Perhaps they write a blurb what attracted them to you as author of the story, or the particular plot which attracted them to the tale itself, and then usually submits a short excerpt of your story as 'teaser' for the readers to sample and get the general 'gist' of the fanfic tale. So far it has been a pretty successful venture!

If you are even interested in joining our club, that would be fabulous as well! We would love to have you on board! The only prerequisite we have is that you love Sparrabeth―that's it!

Murtogg is the short one, Mulroy is the tall one. Norrington addresses Murtogg by name in the first movie when he tries to have Will removed from the room after the attack on Port Royal. Speaking of Will, I'm getting a little worried about him since they're looking for a sword that specifically kills immortals. Does "literally heartless ferryman" count as immortal?

"Hobnob" isn't actually that anachronistic. The first written record we have of the word is in the early 19th century, which is only about 35 to 40 years after Alberich uses it here. Since, like most new words, it was likely used as a slang term before it made it into the written word (particularly since the word itself comes from an Old English toast meaning "have and have notAlberich using the word is not entirely outside the realm of possibility. If you still feel like a few decades makes it too anachronistic, though, might I suggest "mingle" or "rubbing elbows?"

I can't quite believe this isn't more popular. Looking forward to reading the rest.

I did not forget about this story! I just only got to finish it now. My life has been hectic these last few months that I'm only now catching up with the fanfictions I read. I really enjoyed how you ended the story and I'm now looking forward to readin more or your works! Continue with the excellent story writing!

Wow! I really wish OST would have gone this way! What an amazing, unique and very, very, VERY well written story. Enjoyed it to no end :) and what was really fascinating, I loved your original characters. I doesn't happen often. I would have kept reading even if there hadn't been Sparrabeth in it, because you created and amazing storyline! Of course, Sparrabeth itself was amazing here :) it's really odd this story doesn't have more reviews, because it sure as hell deserves a ton of them! Every Sparrabeth fan (and not only them) should read this. :))

Delightful, once again. Always enjoying finding something new of yours to read. Love the angst-filled courtship followed by the deliciously romantic denouement. Had to read that bit twice. :)

Does Teague have some aversion to saying "Elizabeth"? I find it extremely amusing that he won't say her name...

Once again you have done a delightful job with everyone's characters, and I liked the emotional undercurrents occurring between Jack and Elizabeth. Promises of what's to come?
