just one note to try to make the character changes (or revelations in this case) a little slower, or maybe have more lead in... but then again, I was deliciously surprised by Sachiko's delirium, it explained sooo much about Light's psyche lol :) also, I think you are a good enough writer to write Light as the uke without making him shorter, but this version of him is soo cute! my brain is battling over whether to "awwwe!" in joy and adoration or twitch because its not canon lol :DD

i feel bad for Light. Not only is he caught, he loves L and doesn't even realize it, but his mom never loved him, and he has to acept his Shinigami half or else when he dies, he will go to nothingness.
