Another very interesting story some notes though.

At the beginning Penny seemed to realize immediately that surveillance meant they would be living with her. I would not have Thought that was a forgone conclusion and would have assumed bugs and distance following. That point I think should have been clarified.

In the basement she never looked for or considered climbing out the window, which I thought was an obvious solution even if they were very small.

Penny never checked tye shot gun to see if it was loaded she just assumed.

Also most people who store shot guns or other long arms wouldn't keep them in an unfinished basement unprotected and loaded. It would be in a case, potentially easily recognized, but secured and unloaded.

I am legit crying tears right now. I love this story- and the original! The whole "Spaceman" and "Sleep well" themes throughout are so heart-wrenchingly beautiful. Just like watching the beginning of up or Toy Story 3. Well, maybe not for everyone, but that's how it was for me. And as you can see from my pen name, I read a lot of Loki/OC stories but very few that truly nail the whole human girl- Loki relationship. Penny is my girl! I love her! She's funny and relatable, and I love how well you've written Loki. Also, I LOVE PENNY'S letter. SO MUCH. "You should stop being evil and take up kissing instead" - DYING. Thank you for this gift of a story.
