Really interesting stylistic approach to a very good idea. I thought you had a good handle on the Auggie and Annie friendship and ended it up in an entertaining and easy feeling way.

Your spell checker is really your enemy here with the subsitution of 'threw' for through, 'reigned in' for reined in

'here' for here, etc. Don't trust it, but read through two or three times yourself.

Hope you will write more Covert Affairs pieces, because I enjoyed this one.

I really love Annie/Auggie - the friendship is what draws me in. IF...and big IF...they do the whole relationship thing it can't be the trite nonsense they peddle on most networks. We LOVE the friendship...because we know the romance would be oh so much more. :)

Now on to the story...this was great! I wanted to see it continue - to see Annie heal...to see Auggie deal with her demons...to see the rest of DPD try and move past the thought of losing her. It was great! Made me feel for her and them. Nicely done. :)
