Rose needs to grow up, stop being a drama queen, and stop torturing her family.

So her parents wanted the best from her? Sure, that’s pressure, but no excuse to put them through the pain of not knowing if their child is dead or alive. And Hugo obviously cares so much about her too, all he did was push her away because he was hurting.

Also, how self-centred to expect Scorpius to come running after ready her whiny letters? The only reason he did is because he decided he “loved” her after reading them, which is so utterly ridiculous.

Honestly, this story is fairly well written, but the content is whiny, preteen fantasy, and garners no sympathy from anyone that isn’t completely self-absorbed and/or deluded.

This was so beautifully written... especially the epilogue. It's amazing to think that as a sophomore in high school you could not only feel but verbalize this depth of feeling!

Loved the story. In some ways I would have loved a reunion, but in some ways maybe this is closure and as good as it gets.

Thank you so much for writing this! This is possibly my favourite fanfic I have ever read, and I loved it. Your writing style is so succinct, yet so beautiful, and it makes me feel like Rose is actually writing it. One of my favourite parts was how you characterised everyone so well, and didn't stick with the conventional good and evil common to many stories, but you gave them all their own reasons and motivations, showing so many different shades. I really like how you finished it, a happy ending that doesn't leave Rose back with her old family, everything perfect again, the 'perfect' she was trying to escape from, but the seven are changed for the better, further showing how much this story explores deeper into each character, allowing a chance for redemption. I feel that many fanfics romanticise all of our favourite characters, but this is special in that it is strong, hard-hitting and raw - making me cry at some points, and taking me on an emotional journey. I saw that you were going to edit it, but personally I feel this is one of the most well-written fanfictions I have read, and I didn't notice any mistakes at all. You are a truly talented writer, and I wish I could express feeling and emotion from so many perspectives as well as you do. I wish you the best for the future, and hope you continue writing. :) Jade

This is an amazing story and honestly, it spoke to me on so many levels. I loved that she and Scorpius found something in each other and made a life for themselves but I'm sad also, that her family doesn't get to know yet. This was an amazing story and I thank you for it all.

Omg you make me cry. Im glad she fled with Scorpius and had a happy life with him. Seems like Rose didnt want to reveal her true self, right? Somehow I relate myself to Rose. But its a very well written story.

This was a beautiful story. I really hope you see this reveiw since I know its been awhile since you've updated. Anyway, this story just was so sad but so beautiful and your just an amazing writer! :) Any writer who can actually make me feel as sad as I am right now has a whole lot of talent. :) I have to say though, you broke my heart in this chapter. Like shattered it into a million peices. It's completely your story and you have the right to do whatever you want with it but I would be so so happy if you made just a tiny little chapter where Rose reveals herself. Hopefully you see this and consider it :) Thank you for writing this story. :)
