Just so long as Arthur remember's that friendship, but it usually doesn't work out that smoothly. Perhaps that it is early in the series there is less false things clogging everything up with the reveal, and things happen smoother as a result. Thank you for posting!

This is really good! But I would like to point out that the first spell Merlin used wasn't actually necessary - Merlin has proven able to throw people with just his mind numerous times (I would assume it works the same way with a magical beastie). Just something to keep in mind in future works :3

Ohy goodness how has this not got more reviews!? It's amazing! I loved it! Have you thought about doing another chapter? Or perhaps more than another... Maybe several? Like if Arthur notices him dropping branches on bandits, or saw him doing his chores with magic, or asked him questions when they got back to Camelot? Perhaps the chapter from Arthur's point of view? You could even have it where Arthur already knew. Just please please please don't leave it there! Its too good for just a one-shot! Thanks for such a great story :D

Good story. I liked it! I really liked Arthur's reaction of telling Merlin 'exactly' what happened. It was very Arthurish. Which is a good thing. :)

I liked this story - and it's sorta how I thought Arthur might react with his father still on the throne.
