Just one thing; when Koakuma was explaining her story to Reimu in third person, this slipped:

"So, in my foolishness, she taught her how to create spells that could channel her power into anything she wished, and she used her own techniques to defeat me and bind me to her will."

Suddenly, you changed to first person, which breaks the framing device quite badly. You should have kept the third person narration until Reimu realizes Koakuma's true identity. But that's only my opinion, though.

I'll be expecting the next chapter, it looks very promising now that the minor mysteries begin to unravel! And I hope the sixth chapter will be longer than these last three... Keep up the good work!

Well, story hasn't advanced much, so I can't comment on that. Though now I'm curious of what happened to Meiling... Will it be some kind of noodle incident that we will never hear of? Or something more serious and worrisome? Grammar, vocabulary and flow of the narrative are fine, keep up the good work! I'll be waiting for the next full chapter!

Well, this story just reminds me of Touhou Mother, only with less racism between humans and youkai.

Anyway, keep up the good work. Not many Touhou fics have an interesting premise like this.

A very interesting depiction of Gensokyo we have here! I always wondered how would Gensokyo look like if Kanako and Okuu's industralization plans worked.

Your fanfic gave me a certain Deux Ex vibe, with new technological advancements taking over the then rural magical land, and the moral and social changes they bring along. The youkai and humans seem to coexist peacefully at last... but at the cost of a tyranic regime. And everybody seems to have a more depressing life than before -especially poor Marisa. Was this industrial revolution worth it?

I really want to see your answer to this question you've posed, because each side has good points to defend or fight the new order. Also the side-story of Alice's dissapearance hooked me to this story. Perfect grammar and use of vocabulary, though sometimes dialogues are a bit confusing because I didn't know who was talking in some instances.

In summary, you've made an excellent work until now, and your story seems very promising. I'll be waiting for the next update!
