BTW, a bit of a stretch to claim that it was an aimed shot by Logan Moon. And anyway, being Jaguars, the warriors would always be willing to go up against a superior officer, because of their inherent aggression. Notice how clanners in the novels always have to reined in by their officers?

That is even more true for Jags. They do not care if they might be overmatched, but they will always take their glory and the kill whenever they can.

A nice story that provides some insight into the evryday life of a clan mechwarrior. Well worth the read.

I agree completely with SP5. There's nothing wrong in having sex with an elemental! They are just slightly larger humans with the body parts in all the, ahem, right places.

Just keep it up, though the story might be a bit predictable. ;)

I know the scene with the Elemental is a little different, but let's face a couple things here: one, the Clans are promiscuous (by our standard. By theirs, they're completely normal). Second, they aren't just 'mechwarriors. They also have elementals and aerospace pilots. Third, not only do these widely differing body types still operate in the same cluster (or nova), but in some clans they train in the same sibko and grow up together. (especially Wolf Clan sibkos). You don't think that there won't be at least a few couplings that cross service branches? It certainly isn't taboo, nor is it mentioned in any source material. If humans can sleep with ALIENS on some of the better-known sci-fi shows (and produce mutant children), why not a 'Mechwarrior with an Elemental?
