Miravale chapter 35 . 11/12/2019 Hey there, I realize that this story is six years old and that you were in grade 10 when you wrote it, but here is my completely honest review. I admire your dedication to this story. This is the first time I have ever read it (in 2019) and I absolutely admire your dedication. I struggle to continue a story after the first chapter, personally, and haven't been able to complete a single fanfic or story in my life. I love the scenarios that you come up with, sometimes it gives me butterflies as if I'm speaking to a real person. I enjoy the personalities of your Chelsea and Vaughn very, very much. The grammar is something that I can get by easily. It isn't *that* bad. The main issue that I've had with this fanfiction, isn't your use of foul language, but how OFTEN it's used. For example, within one of the very first chapters, I used CTRLF to see exactly how many times "fuck" or "fucking" was used in your fanfic, and within Vaughn's very small addition to the chapter, it had been used 24 times. It gets to the point that I skip over the word almost any time because it is used waaayyy too much. No offense! This story is still wonderful. I have also enjoyed to see your Author's Notes that say things like "This Fanfic should only continue for 10 or so chapters..." and I see that I'm only on chapter 20/30 out of 64! I love the fact that you took the time to develop this story in depth, the way many people and even myself are not willing to do. I can get past the grammar mistakes and the overuse of curse words because your story is so enjoyable. I appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into this story. I looked up your profile and I see that you haven't been very active besides this story and the last mention of your activity was in 2013. I hope that you're still around, or I hope that you check Fanfiction every now and then. In 2013 I was also a sophomore in high school ( I THINK ). Message me if you see this, because I want to know if you're still here! Thank you for providing the HM community with this beautiful fanfiction. |
artemismach chapter 28 . 7/19/2019 Oh my goddddd, I wish you would do a fic about Gray and Claire from this story! This is absolutely 100% my favorite fanfic I've ever read, I've been readingfollowing for years. You did an amazing job!i hope you see this lol |
Helen chapter 64 . 3/22/2016 Once again I have finished this story and I just have to say, even though it's been three years since you finished, 2 years since I read it the first time, it is still my number 1 favorite fanfiction and possibly story of all time. Chelsea's optimism at the beginning was so invigorating, and watching Vaughn discover his better self was too. When they finally discovered they were in love, it was bliss. True bliss and excitement for what came next. Then when Chelsea was afraid of commitment and Vaughn was afraid of change, I got to see how they are both the strongest of people because they dove head first into. They were so scared but sometimes you just gotta make the right decision. Then they both realized, separately, the true meaning of marriage. Marriage is the profession of vowing what they already know and wish to do for each other for the rest of their lives. But then, Chelsea was crushed at the death of her perfect farm and her heart. Vaughn was even more destroyed because he knew that he was stepping into heaven that day, but it became hell for him as he stood helpless watching Chelsea run away, destroyed. The pain. I could feel Vaughn's pain of loneliness and acceptance of a life he didn't want and Chelsea's pain of loss and apparant betrayal during those 10 depressing chapters before Vaughn sees Kai and finds Chelsea and her stripper past. Chelsea was a knucklehead at first, but once she realized that Vaughn was innocent all along, she had to run back to the island and get her man back. And she did. They worked together, as a strong couple, to build back the island that had fallen apart. After so much blood, swear, and tears, they finished that goal and began a new one. The everlasting chapter of their marriage. Commitment no longer scared Chelsea and change didn't make Vaughn run in the opposite direction anymore. They both knew what they wanted, and that was to be together for the rest of their lives and to know that they can always rely on the other person to be their strength. Man and wife. They both knew they would be forever with each other, but the struggles didn't stop then. Chelsea was aching for a child and Vaughn was afraid he would turn into the father he had. But he knew he wouldn't be a monster with Chelsea at their side. And so Chelsea became pregnant, with their precious Georgia. A new chapter in their lives began as their love combined created a person. They were so exuberant to raise a child together. But fate had a different plan, Georgia passed on. Only with the help of Julia, did Vaughn realize that they couldn't mourn their child forever. Vaughn saw how devastated they both were but he was determined to bring the optimistic Chelsea back. When Chelsea told him that she wouldn't come out of her bedroom until she had a baby, Vaughn did exactly as she wanted. Within a few days, he came back. That moment where Chelsea heard Rose cry was one of my favorite moments of the story. It brought me chills. That maternal instinct drove Chelsea out of he misery back into the light. But a surprise awaited her also, a shaggy brown-haired boy. A boy who never felt loved was welcomed into a home that day. When Chelsea hugged him and told him that he was loved, wow. That scene was my favorite of the entire story. Vaughn and Chelsea raised their children, and even though there were many bumps along the way, they both agreed it was all worth it. This story was my favorite. I felt so many emotions reading this once again, and I know I'll read it all over again and again over the years. You, SunnyElla16, really captured a beautiful relationship. I think your strong point was showing the change and commitment features of both Chelsea and Vaughn. Growth is good and this story just proved it even more. The world of Chelsea and Vaughn is my happy place. A happy farm and a happy family that has known hardship. This story will always continue to impact me. So I thank you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating one of the best stories I've ever read and will have ever read in my entire life. I was devastated when I saw you had been in a car accident, a coma, and lost some of your memory right after chapter 50. I commend you for coming back to it and finishing it so, so well. You inspire me to write a story like yours! Maybe one about Luke and Akari. :) I hope I can develop the characters as well as you did in this story. Thank you for inspiring me, and if I ever get onto this site my name will be HelenTheReader, so look me up, will ya? Drop by and say hi. :) Thank you again. |
Guest chapter 10 . 2/9/2016 You write horribly. You need a proof reader. And you have a dislikable protagonist who immediately jumps to conclusions, romantic interest, and just everyone in this story. Making shitty people isn't the best for developing plot. |

ChickenWings chapter 64 . 9/24/2015 Well, hi there :) I started reading your story, when it had less than 20 chapters and stopped, because the other chapters weren't uploaded back then. I don't even know if I reviwed to your story back then ' But here I am and I was super thrilled when I saw that your story is finished that I started reading it again :) I somehow really liked your version of chelsea, she's really unique xD(gosh, that sounds so lame, since that's vaughns way to describe her :P) Your Chelsea is a Chelsea that is not loved by everyone but hated by everyone :P And even though that made me want to punch everyone in the face but her and Vaughn, it's something that I enjoyed about the story :P My favourite part of the whole story was Vaughn and Chelsea getting together of coursde xD It was so sweet and hot at som points :P Oh, and your way of connecting all of these harvest moon games is very creative and well done :) The person I hated most in this whole story would be Skye. It's somehow unsatisfiing not to know what happened to this fucker :/ oh, and while i'm talking about"fuckers" I even liked the swearing in this whole story :) it always reminded you of the background story of Vaughn and Chelsea. So why the fuck shouldn't they be fucking swearing? I really enjoyed reading your story and there's a reason, why this is one of the most faved harvest moon stories(that's how i found it again xD) it's fucking awesome :) |

Kelli chapter 64 . 5/25/2014 Oh my god; the epilogue made me feel nostalgia, even though I read this story in a day. It was fantastic! I felt everything the characters were feeling, even thought there were some spelling and grammar mistakes, it was simply fabulous. It made me sad that it ended, it was so good and I didn't want to stop reading. You incorporated everything perfectly, keep up the good work. I'm sorry you lost some of your memory, that must be really hard for you. Thanks for one of the best stories ever written! |

Coffeechu chapter 64 . 2/20/2014 Wow. That was truly a wonderful story. I feel like a story isn't complete unless you've learned something worth while from it and from this story I think I've learned a lot. Even through all the struggles and heart aches, in the end they got their happy ending and it well deserved. Thank you for posting this, this is one fanfic I'll always remember. :) |
Coffeechu chapter 50 . 2/18/2014 Holy crap. I feel so sad I just want to bawl, but I'm at a public place right now and don't want people to look at me like I'm nuts... Hahahaaa *Sobs* oh gosh. I know it has to get better but at this moment I'm pretty disgusted by the cruelty of fate.. HOW EVIL OF THOSE JERKS. Pure evil. I hope they get their come-up-ins :( |
