| Jnisya E. Holson chapter 4 . 10/28/2018 sweet and a bit dark. Love it. Kaito being on the edge of madness makes perfectly sense as a consequence of being a target of a bunch of killers (for a damn stone too, indeed) and paranoia at every step. Plus, people he most cares about being targets as well, don't think it helps the matter. I'm just glad that in the end Kai managed to find an anchor and support in Shinichi and relieved that, in the end, Heiji and Hakuba accepted him as KID. I always thought Aoko as Kai's best friend, but she also gave me the impression of seeing things too much in black and white, a bit like Hakuba, and even though I'm pretty sure she will never betray Kaito if he tells her his secret, I'm not that certain as well that she won't resent him for it, given the time. Kai deserve an happy ending as the others. Now he has it. Overall it's fluent and easy to read, funny at some points, dark at others... I enjoyed it a lot. And the characters and their interactions are well portrayed. So thanks for the story! Great job! |
