Reviews for Balance

This was my exact train of thought after watching the show for the first time. It was put into words so well, and I applaud you for that

LoveFromLiberty chapter 1 . 4/14
Grear story. Zuko is the easiest to identify with since he has been through pretty much everything since he was banished. Through his travels and hardships (even before he was banished) he has grown the most from the Gaang and evolved from a child who didn't know how to behave properly to the man who peacefully ruled his nation after the war. It is also great to see this through Sokka's point of view, who is close to Zuko's age and has also matured through the series.

Kawisdom chapter 1 . 9/29/2019
This is really a unique take on the characters. Your observations on Aang and Zuko are accurate and Sokka's the perfect one to spot it. He's the analytical one, the thinker and observer. He also isn't a bender, and I think benders identify too much at times with their element and the mindset it represents. Zuko spent a quarter of his childhood away from home so it's natural he was affected (even if he was ashamed of what he'd learned every time his father crossed his mind).
Wfest chapter 1 . 4/13/2019
Very, very good! Great insight!
Love My Fandoms chapter 1 . 2/14/2019
Um wow! Just wow! That was amazing. And I totally agree. It always irked me how quickly Zuko adapted to his surroundings and how easily everyone connected to him (unless of course he was chasing them all over the world but even then he won their trust surprisingly easily). I thought about it but could never put my finger on just what it was. And you're right. Though I disagree about Aang as he is a symbol of balance just in different ways, you're right about Zuko too. It doesn't make sense that the boy who grew up being taught to hate the other nations is so... everything. But then again his life hasn't ever been this straightforward. I think part of the reason he is so balanced is because of Iroh. Remember how Iroh taught Zuko how to learn from the other bendings and taught him how different people of the different nations were. I think that affected him more than he knew.
The Anguished One chapter 1 . 2/6/2019
A marvelous interpretation of Zuko's character. You make an excellent argument.
