i love it! :) and its nice to see a little of what might have happened in between the last chapter and the epilogue in the book.

but i think katniss needs to witness an episode where he fights with himself. the mutt side tells him its all a lie she never loved him... and the peeta side reminds him she did like the the quarter quell or something.

i think she needs to see how much the peeta side needs her. that for once he cant comfort her, she needs to be the strong one. :)

I loved the longer chapter. I like this story because Katniss has to take care of Peeta for once. I do however think Haymitch is a little out of character. Even when he's drunk and stubborn he doesn't want to send Katniss to her potential death. Update soon!

This sounds like an interesting idea for a story. To see how Katniss will cope with the idea of him needing her so much just to get along. I'm looking forward to reading more.

A good start! There's a hesitant tenderness in the way Katniss treats Peeta that I like -her wariness about being near him during his "episodes" is definitely understandable. You've captured their push-pull relationship well within such a short space. I hope you continue to deal with the aftereffects of the war as you have here: "The old Katniss would have roused him, made sure he was okay before leaving. My instinct now is to flee, so I follow it" was just so sad. Looking forward to more!
