Not only is this well written, and in character (I imagine, Israel seems realistic anyway) it's a fantastic idea! I am in awe of your awesomeness!

Hmmm I'm craving more from this. I'm wanting to know Israel's thoughts about being a father and having to raise a child after his home is destroyed and he's running and hiding from NCR. What does it really mean to have someone depend on him so wholly when he struggles with his own safety?

I'd also like to see how much James affected him. Did Israel see it as naive/stupid or honorable? or a mix of both?

You were probably just wanting this to be a small little fill, haha, but it feels like just the beginning of something and I'm selfishly wanting more.
