Books and Lattes chapter 1 . 3/5/2015 I love it, great story, would've liked to see more, and still anytime, liked how a cold-hearted badass could care for a sweet innocent girl like mayu. Keep up the good work, dude |
Guest chapter 1 . 10/23/2014 YES. THIS. YES! |
dearheadlights chapter 1 . 3/21/2013 This is an incredible fic and I think you do both characters justice. In fact, I prefer the depth in which you rendered them (though I could never say anything Elfen Lied did was bad by any means). You're an incredible writer and I believe this vein of writing (this fandom) is one you are uniquely suited to. It has been an extremely pleasurable and enlightening read. Thank you and I hope you come back to more some day. -Em |
xxMormortaxx chapter 1 . 12/5/2012 Wow. You captured Bando's character spot on you know? Good job! |
KazeCat chapter 1 . 8/18/2012 Even though I've never watched the Anime-version of Elfen Lied, I REALLY enjoyed this. I can only blame it on the spectacularly incrompehensible lack of attention towards the pairing that this fic didn't get more reviews. It's utterly awesome. There are far too less MayuBandou-fics out there as well, but in the ones there are, I don't think I've ever seen a more accurate Bandou. The only thing irking me here is that he actually wanted to kill himself; if there was a minimal chance he could, he'd definitely try to kill Lucy no matter how many times he lost. Again, I haven't seen the Anime-circumstances, though. Otherwise he just fit. You made him even more honest to himself than he was in the manga, seeing himself as a monster built to kill alone, with even a hint of regret. I also like the part about the rush of adrenaline, it's something he'd think. As for Mayu, I'm not so sure, and I didn't like her reasoning to stay with Bandou as much. Liked the part about her recognizing his dishonesty while yelling at her because she knows real hatred, so I guess your overall characterization of her was alright. I fear you dropped your plan on writing a novel, I'd read it. For me, probably nothing can ever come close to the manga-storyline which I adore, but your take is really great as well. Thanks! |
