Was going to give this a chance because of the pairing, but gave up after the first couple of mistakes. The style is not interesting enough to subject myself to brain-rape.

Oh, and; many times, I believe it's 'then' rather than 'than'. When it has to do with time it's 'then', usually. Not very problematic for the reading though; 'e's are just up-side-down 'a's, aren't they ;

Besides that: well, he had to announce it to them at some point, right...? He should have prepared himself for it. Though I'm not sure it would have been enough to keep his spirits up...

It's a funny thing how you use a new line at each new sentence. The paragraphs add comfort in the reading, and using one line per sentence makes it easier not to get lost in the reading. It's nice
