Damn the ending just left me a crying mess. I thought Yumi would walk out into the sun after Sachiko died so she could be with her forever. But to live on forever without her is so so much more painful.

I hate u for write this wonderful story :'( I do nothing just crying in pain...for the moment Sei die in Yumi's arm...and the moment Sachiko die...its really make my heart in pain...

I like you for writing an amazing story about Sachiko and Yumi, about their way too beautiful love. This story was totally great in any senses of romance. I was really, truly loved it.

Yet I hate you, I hate you for making Yumi, the one I truly adored

, to live a long life, perhaps an eternal one, without her beloved Sachiko. I know I'm being unreasonable and selfish, but... but how hard and painful it is to live without your one true beloved ? If I could, I will let Yumi die together with Sachiko, at least they will be united in the afterlife. But of course I cannot, I give you my deepest apologize.

But in the end I can only say one thing about this story: It is totally beautiful.

The most beautiful thing is of course, the love of Sachiko and Yumi, A love that overcome all, from duty to differences... Everything, their marvelous feeling for each other surpass everything. Truly too beautiful and too precious.

Next thing is what you have showed me through this story. Yumi, a symbol of darkness, serves the light for their beloved one Sei, once a great huntress of the light, fall into the darkness also because of love ( even though that is not her love). You showed me how strong love can be.

Yumi and Sachiko, Sei and Youko, Rei and Yoshino, Shimako and Eriko, all of them are such precious example of true love.

Finally, about the ending, which is the reason I hate you, it is one of the most beautiful ending I have ever read. It made me cry you know? I haven't cried for so long, I can't remember how long had it been since I last cried. Call me someone who know too few about the world or a weakling if you want, but that is the true, this story brought tears to my eye ! It is just too beautiful and painful !

I guess I had gone too far, sorry for all the things that I had said if they annoy you.

You may not be a writer whose name is known by the world, but to me you are a great writer. Thank you for this great story you have offered to us reader !

The moment when Sei opened her arms for Yumi, I began to doubt myself if ever I really wanted to kill her. Emotions were overflowing here, particularly Yumi's unending hope that for Sei's deliverance. I also was hoping that there was some redeeming way for Sei not to die, but I guess, it really can't be helped; she was the reason for Shiori's aberrations in the first place. I wonder what happened to Youko though, there were little information about her, except that Sachiko had been seeing her until her death. And to think her name was one of Sei's last words. That was calming for Sei; that was devastating for Youko, if she were selfish enough.

About Sachiko: It felt like I was in Hellsing AU; but don't get me wrong, the evilness and badassery and arousing moments of Hellsing's last chapter was very different from this one; the only similarity was the offering of the Master's blood to her subordinate vampire, which was totally heartbreaking. I used to think that Sachiko and Yumi had SM tendencies, but this time, I really felt that they were equal. Kudos to that. And the fact that Sachiko did not succumb to her desire to be with Yumi forever (I know that she really wanted to) was profound as it was. And the fact that her weapons were still close to her, she was really trying her best to compensate the memories of old times with her weapons in the past, just not to dampen her desire to be immortal.

And to end it all, bloody hell I cried.

So, I really hope that you'll write another Marimite fanfic. Soon. XD Sorry if my review was quite late.

Totally climatic ending that was too gripping in itself! Really, Sei's need for the emotional clinging in the end made her self-destruct, drove herself to the black darness and I think maybe she was happy for it to end. Great story!

Absolutely an amazing finish to this story. I knew it would be, but I was very surprised by my own reaction to it. The battle scene was the most emotional one I have seen from this story, and it unnerved me in that way, when Sei, as I think I knew, was the one keeping the Countess in this way, and thus would be the one to end it. How empty Sei appeared to be. It was not her death, but her life that was such a sucker punch.

The end of Sachiko was heart wrenching. Seeing her as an old lady, with only her memories, not even able to see Yumi anymore, her weapons but relics. It was a melancholy end for a warrior. I think Yumi has more to do, and I like the way that part was left open-ended. Left to our imaginations what that might be.

The phrasing for this was just right. More perfect words could not have been chosen. It was the end of an era, and the descrptions of time passing was extremely effective, and yes, I cried a little at the end. Thank you for this fanfic. I think it is the best I have read here.

That was an amazing juxtaposition between the passion at the opening of the chapter and the horror at then end. Also a fascinating contrast between the intimacy of Sachiko/Yumi and Sei/Youko. Sizuka is gone but only 2 roses are left to stop Sei/Shiori. Great update!

Most disturbing chapter thus far. Of course, I expect Yumi to eat Shizuka's heart, with all the blood spurting. But I never expect her eating Shizuka's heart, with all the worms. It was disgusting. Imagine the black slime. I rooted for Shimako, but as you said, both Sei's past and future are gone-almost a foreshadow of Sei's destiny in the next chapter. As usual, Rosa Gigantea died in this chapter. It seemed that Youko could not interfere with the last battle; but I guess, she would so something dramatic. Sei molesting Youko was just disturbingly cool. And, lastly, nice Sachiko/Yumi moment. It was soooo... like them. LOL
