I know it's been four years and you probably aren't on any longer but it'd be wonderful for you to update. My sister and I loved it so much and it's sad to see it sitting here abandoned.

I know that it's probably a stretch to hope that you will complete this after four years, but I just want to thank you for writing this. I'm new to the Ouran fandom(just finished watching the anime a couple of days ago), and I've got to say that this is the best fanfic that I've found so far in the fandom. It's really different from the typical sickfic in that there's such high stakes, something that I wish that more stories had.

I just want to thank you for doing so much research on cancer for the story; it's important to me because I've had several people within my family and friends experience the disease in different forms, including leukemia. I was really hit hard with the realism while reading this. Although I've never had cancer myself, I've felt the effects of it, so I feel like the way that you wrote the other characters' reactions was very true to life.

You've done a great job with the characterizations. I particularly enjoyed Kyouya's reaction in chapter six, and the gentle way that he helped Tamaki. The Tamaki/Haruhi feels are strong here, too! This story, I think is the deciding factor: I will ship Harhui with Tamaki, rather than Hikaru ;-) (it was a toss-up between the two for me).

I'm honestly worried about Tamaki. There's been very few stories that keep me worrying after reading them, and this is one of them- it almost feels as if it could fit into the anime. My poor sweet boy... :'( I'm really hoping that he gets better.

Anyway, it's hard to explain how much I enjoy this story, and I'm earnestly hoping that you are able to continue it. I'm really anxious to see if it's a happy ending for Tamaki and the gang. But even if you're not able to continue, I want to thank you for a wonderfully accurate, heart-wrenching story that has me coming back to re-read it already after I've read it through once. Great job!

As I was reading through the first two chapters I noticed right away what his symptoms were leading to, because when I was 6 I had AML and when they said he had cancer I knew right away it was AML I love this story so much and it had a good plot line keep up your good work (6 year cancer free today -)
