Lady Liln chapter 1 . 1/6/2012 Love the style you have this in! This was such a great exploration of Dawn's character and future and general issues...as one of the few people in this world who genuinely loves Dawn as a character, I say well done! XD Loved the little Xander/Dawn at the end; it felt just right. |
Guest chapter 1 . 9/18/2011 Amazing. It's poetic and wonderful and incredibly in character, and it made me appreciate Dawn a little bit more. Great job, and keep writing! |
GirlwithSword chapter 1 . 8/28/2011 Okay, you just made me like Dawn. Like, feel bad for, enjoy and understand Dawn. You also made me approve of Dawn/Xander which, untill this point, always had me feeling just a bit squicky inside. This story is brilliant and right and laid out pefectly and so well written. Plus, a little spuffy fluff on the side makes eveything better! I would continue reading everything you ever wrote, but the screen is starting to look a little blurry. |
Jeremy Shane chapter 1 . 8/10/2011 Good Story |
layoung13 chapter 1 . 8/9/2011 I like this. I like it on its own but I'd also like to read more, which is different for me b/c Dawn is not my favorite character but I'm interested in this Dawn and what happens to her. You're just the best... |
Beckydaspatz chapter 1 . 8/9/2011 Holy crap! This was just...I don't have words, not any that would measure up to how wonderful this is. First off I don't like Dawn, I spent most of S6 wishing something nasty would eat her so I didn't have to listen to her whine anymore, probably because I could never understand what it really means to have a whole life that is fabricated. So the best compliment I can give to you is that you not only made me like Dawn a little bit, but you made me understand her, as more than Buffys' little sister or the Key or Xanders' love interest. As a person in her own right...great job. Secondly, I love how you really get inside the head of the characters and give their deepest feelings and fears a voice without making them EVER seem out of character. It is the quality of a great writer and I am just blown away... Thirdly, I cried. When she locked herself in her room for two days I just cried. Perfect, lovely, thank you for writing this. |
Indigo-Night-Wisp chapter 1 . 8/9/2011 Oh Dawnie... she did seem to get over the whole "not-real for fourteen years" thing pretty quickly in canon. I guess it was being bottled up. Your Dawn comes out less angsty than your Spike or Buffy. And I think it's pretty romantic. There's Dawn/Xander and hey look! Spuffy! (And hello, funnies, 'cause only Spike could get in trouble with MONKS.) I loved the relationship she had with Spike and Xander. There wasn't much with her and Giles, but she and the boys... they had stuff. And I love the last sentence. :) |
