This was such a poignant story. I really enjoyed it

great job on the story n i love that u were able to show how kids can figure things out for themselves sometimes..n ALSO they learn from the adults/parents..be it love, acceptance or hatred and prejudiced.

I really enjoyed this story - I've been interested in fics that deal with this issue, but haven't found many so I'm really glad you tackled it.

Aww, that ending was really sweet. Your version of little Rachel just makes me happy. It was awesome when she walked up to Quinn and demanded to know what her problem was. I can picture her doing that. And I liked her noticing that the teacher held her hand, while Quinn was being guided by the arm. Four for you, Rachel's teacher. You go, Rachel's teacher!

Shelby wincing when Rachel winced was cute. And Rachel saying she learned that she should've kept her hands up when she was being punched made me laugh.

I still really like the relationship you've created between Shelby and the dads, too. Very nice work.

Aww, I loved that so much! I adore little Rachel, especially her innocence and the way she sees the world. What she said about love being much nicer than hate is so true and so simple yet it's something that so many people can't see and don't understand. I really felt like giving her a big hug when she was being bullied and ostracized and when she was talking to Shelby and suggesting ways to get Quinn to be nicer. It really showed the way children see the world so differently from adults, holding this optimism and viewing people in the best lights, how things seem so much simpler to children than they really are.

I felt bad for Quinn even if she was very mean since it wasn't exactly her fault that her dad had been teaching her such wrong views and it's sad to see how adults are passing on this irrational hate and prejudice for others to the next generation instead of teaching acceptance and tolerance.

Great job, the relationship between Rachel and Shelby and even her fathers is beautiful. I like how proud of her they were and Shelby had to be the one discipling her. Amazing one shot, I do enjoy reading about both young Rachel and teenaged Rachel and I can't wait to see more!

Oh my goodness I loved this story! I just wanted to pick Rachel up and hug her :) Shelby was fab as always and the Dads were so funny when they came for dinner :)

I loved this line. . . "You are a lucky girl, honey," Shelby said. "You've got two daddies to wrap around your finger. And one mommy to keep all of you in line."

This was so sweet! I was already missing your one shots! I loved it and can't wait to hear more from this and maybe to see them meeting Quinn? Can't wait to see also how Shelby and Rachel will spend their 'day off' :D Maybe Shelby trying to teach/help her with homeworks? That must be frustrating when your mom is a teacher! :)

As much as I am in love with Changed for the Better - these one shots are simply divine! Rachel is just too adorable for words, and I love the Shelby/Leroy/Hiram as a family unit aspect. Another fabulous addition to little Rachel. Please don't ever stop these!
