Claw chapter 1 . 8/9/2017 Damn. HOT damn. |
Guest chapter 1 . 12/23/2014 I laughed so hard at Francis comments! And no offence, but you translated "love" wrong. Liefde is love in Dutch as in the general word. The pet name love would be translated to "liefje". Most people think it means sweetheart, but there's no real direct translation of that word in the Dutch language. I love Halloween fics! |
thosehetalianships chapter 1 . 12/6/2014 "So does this mean we are back together?" Haha well, I should hope so XD The fics where Matthew gets all slutty are so fun lol Good job! |
visitor chapter 1 . 5/25/2013 oh god this was hot! matthew in a dress and holland being cruel (love would translate to liefje in this sense of the word, btw) |
lilactree chapter 1 . 12/7/2012 Darn. I wanted Matthieu to say no :P |
emmetje15 chapter 1 . 8/9/2012 Nice little story. just one thing, liefde is not the right translation to love in this case. Liefste, liefje, geliefde or lieveling would fit better. Liefde means love but it is not something you call a person. Liefde is the feeling, not a petname. I loved the story and hope you keep writing. XOX |
KitsuneMagic48 chapter 1 . 5/9/2012 :D Me Gusta |
Amber chapter 1 . 3/7/2012 hey, I really liked your story, It's not my favorite paring, but you just made me like it! Just one little thing that irked me: you transleded liefde (love) directly didn't you? 'cause liefde means love as in the feeling and I take you meant it as a pet name. if you want to keep lovr you could use something along the lines of "lief" "liefje" "lieveling" or "schatje", all of those can be translated as love (or sweetheart/darling). Not trying to be mean, I just wanna help. love, a Dutch girl |
Elise-san chapter 1 . 1/11/2012 nice :P Just wanted to point out that 'liefde' means 'love', as in the emotion. When you say 'love', as in the person you love, you would say something like 'liefste' or 'mijn lief' (my love). |
Barren Chasm chapter 1 . 9/6/2011 Yay! Thank-you so much! I was getting worried that you might have forgotten! XD |
KnivesAreNummy chapter 1 . 8/13/2011 God dammit. Ik houvan je. I love the way you write Matthew; so he's not so innocent/invisible. And Netherlands is always awesome. And NethCan even more awesome (As a Dutch-Canadian this stuff is hnng...) I saw your mistake with the language has been pointed out already. But! If you need help with the language stuff I'm willing to help: my first language is the Limburgs dialect of Dutch! (I can also help in French and German :I) Nice! |
Star-SpangledAmerica chapter 1 . 8/10/2011 I love it just like i love all nethercan stories! |
BlueSkiesandHockeyMinds chapter 1 . 8/10/2011 wow just wow! Your stories always make me happy when im having a sucky day(like today but thats besides the point) I love all of your NetherlandsxCanada stories they're so well written and capture the characters perfectly in my opinion. So thank you so much for writing and posting this you just completed my life. I can die happy now :D Anyways.. Can't wait for more! |
Guest chapter 1 . 8/10/2011 beautiful! though I must say that "liefde" translates to the emotion of love while something like "schat"(dear) or "liefje"(lil'love) or even "mijn lief."(my love) can be used. also, he does have a name (a goon one at that) his name's Lars, and holland(which is two provinces, not one) is female in my eyes. (I tend to rant about people abusing my mother tounge) on a brighter note, the Dutch name for maple syrup is "ahorn siroop" and it would be awesome if Lars were to make a comment on that leading to them having sex in the kitchen using maple syrup as lube (Prussia stole my typing and inserted awesome where 'hilarious' or 'great' would have sufficed, but what the heck if it makes him happy) |
paarsetulpen chapter 1 . 8/10/2011 This was awesome! :D Have you considered writing a multi-chapter story for these two? Maybe about how they stay together this time? |
