when i heard the dogs name Bones, Star Trek was the first thing i thought of, even though i never saw the series. the explanation you gave it was just beautiful!

To hear how Sam came about naming that golden retriever Bones was so beautifully done it, and I loved how Dean garnered a new level of respect for his little brother because of it. Wonderful story-telling.

What a great story this was! I could totally see the two brothers standing on the sidewalk outside the pet store, having this conversation. I think it's a great reason for Sam to have named the dog "Bones" too. Very clever of you. :D
