akk! I love this introspective on Matt; I've always found him the hardest to write, and you seem to have a great grasp on him.

I almost wish you'd continue this one drabble, have someone there to save him from his drowning, even though in the show I know that'll never happen. to bad too; he does have such pretty eyes.

This made me fall for her again as a character. There are a lot of moments where I didn't like her, but this just sort of banished all my nagging doubts. Because all she was trying to do was protect her town and the people in it.

And the encounter with Matt? Effin' beautiful! That moment just held a lot of tenderness and I could completely see how you linked those two characters. Beautiful. Please keep writing more.

Powerful! Didn't really get what was going on but the end just had me in tears. It manages to surpass being cheesy and instead leaves me with this sort of breathless sense of resolution.

I really loved this because Stefan's eventual reunion with Elena - which has to happen - would be something like this. Simple, and without any long drawn out speeches.

This is just what I'd imagine Stefan would do. It's a way of assuring her he's still alive, and I can imagine Elena holding on to them the way you describe here.

I love certain aspects of both Damon/Elena and Stefan/Elena but I think in my heart I'd love Stefan and Elena to manage to be together again. There's just something about their love which is just so constant and unshakeable. Wonderful as always.

Oh! Gorgeous. This tugged at my heartstrings because it was just such a perfect drabble. It encapsulates the different desires Stefan has - keeping Klaus happy and away from Mystic Falls,

whilst secretly wanting to be back home with ELena.

The last two lines in particular made me just nearly fall over with astonishment because they are just so perfect.

How this has not managed to gain more reviews will forever mystify me.

the last line made me tear up a little, I'll be honest. I don't think we saw much of a bond between Jeremy and Jenna throughout the show, only the odd little moment between them. I love this for many reasons, the main one being it keeps with the show's tone and yet reveals the raw emotion Jeremy feels but rarely gets to show.

perfect drabble about Matt. The last couple of lines were perfect, because even though he resented what happened to his sister, he still stuck his neck out to try and save Caroline and Tyler that night of the full moon.

amazing! I'm not a fan of slash myself but I think there was always something there between Jeremy and Tyler. At best, unresolved issues, at worst maybe unresolved feelings.

I love the idea that Jeremy's ghosts - literal, and figurative - are keeping him apart from Tyler because he still has that tie to Vicki, still feels like he has to hold on to her and maybe pursuing Tyler will damage that.
