Great action in this chapter. The descriptions of the bodies and what the heat had done to them-eerie but accurate. James...I'm pulling for him but he's worrisome, unlike Michael who showed a flash of unexpected savagery in Room 216. I thought maybe he'd try to reason or just disable the man, but he straight up neutralised the threat. Great installment as always.

Chapter 2: FFNet won’t let you double up on revies apparently despite the bit of chapter remodelling since I last read, but I had to comment regardless because I really your descriptions. “Rumpled old vet” says so much in a few words. From the “cross-section” that happened into the Walgreens, Dave turning a walker’s head into “jellied confetti”, you can describe events in a real simple way but also a way that’s easily visualised. And adding in details I wouldn't readily consider like catching fleas from the pup. Great writing and again, thanks for updating.

Chapter 3: Well tear out my heart and dance the paso doble on the pieces... I’m glad I wrote the above before I started reading because I’d be too gutted to think—which is probably why this is so short.

I am picking up a similarity from I Am Legend in writing style. Which is a great book btw and even better than any of the movies! I loved the way that the book was narrated from Robert Neville's thoughts similar to how narrating a story through a journal is.
