I love it, only you got one thing wrong. You said that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Well, it's 'the squeaky wheel gets the oil.' Aside from that, it's perfect.

I loved when he said "I am so screwed." And the scene between the two of them outside was beautiful. I'm wondering if Johanna doesn't want it to be him since that will mess with her relationship with Annie. And he might not be very interested in her.

Haymitch was fun. Esp. the I've already had 4 phone calls from Miss Mason.

Only thing I found unrealistic was that the victors would still be rich. It seems that after the fall of the Capitol there wouldn't be much government money left. But that's nit-picking.

Johanna's response to Bly/Finnick... Completely believable. And how she called Haymitch four times? Love it.

I love it that despite himself he is still immediately drawn toward Annie, that there's still that special place in his heart that belongs to her. While I hope that he remembers her from before, it seems to me that even if they just started from here things would turn out okay for them. I can't wait to see how you take it from here though. I also can't wait for Johanna's reaciton when they tell her about the DNA test!

Aww... the Finn/Annie moment was incredible. And Jo was well... Jo at her worst which is unfailingly awesome ;)

"Finnick's home," she whispers. - aww. I knew the meeting would go well after this. Grreat detail with the sugas cubes waiting for Finn.

"Prim is grinning like her back teeth need light" - lol, great description.

"Bly takes them as if she has offered him gold" - perfection, it is :)

"Seems to me her candle is flickering a bit, but it's yours that is so far out, it isn't even smoking." - ouch. Touché.

"But you still like me?/" are the naughtiest person I know." - lol, thats right for Haymitch :) And one of the very best too, right? I could say the same to you, my dear mentor :)

I love that Johanna doesn't think his eyes are the right color. Ha, ha. The image of him tossing away his prosthetics and swimming was wonderful. And overprotective mom was at least being a mom to Prim, even if she was obnxious.

One thing - don't think Sardine Grits would have tentacles. Love your District 4 snacks. And his comments re goat cheese cracked me up.

Perfect story is perfect now that Johanna and Annie (AND FINNIGAN) are in it. No concrit here whatsoever. I am speechless and this story is a lot of lovely adjectives.

My only concrit for chapter tres is that the metaphors in the beginning were starting to get too drawn out, but after seeing it again in the last few paragraphs, I think you made a good call. :D

What a hopeful story. I really hoped you would continue this one! I hope more and more memories come to him and that he can accept himself once again. I guess we'll just have to see where it goes though :-)

"He says staring into the light like he can see heaven." - of course he can :) I can see light just picturing the scene.

"he is making sex noises as he chomps with his mouth open" - okay, I went to read this hoping to get my mind out of the gutter... and now... this... wah. Im hopeless and enjoying it ;)

"I will never forget who cared enough about a nobody to find me a someday." - aww. Yeah, the someday is just perfect.

"I do this for my Pirate King, the bringer of all the light I knew." - aww.

"But that man you don't like for some reason, was my friend too and if you are the same, then I want them both to have a someday." - I adore your Princess. Now she radiates the light right back, and then some.

"Bly says with heartstrings so tight it looks like pain." - this description was infinitely beautiful.

So wonderful to see Prim happy again. And to watch her pester Finnick into having some courage.

So glad to get a burst of hope into that sad world. Although Bly is still pretty sad.
