Ron sounded rather knowledgeable in his explanation of how the oldest families maintain blood "purity". I know it's mostly because of what he is, a "pureblooded", and therefore it would common knowledge, but he certainly didn't sound like his usual self. He sounded very in control and secure in facts of wizard heritage.

Hermione's having the next Malfoy heir and Draco isn't having it. Wonder how it'll play out in the end. Will he protect his child or allow the child to be killed. Will he give himself a chance to actually find love with someone or will he keep what is a safe pre-determined choice. Wonder if he will ever reveal to Blaise the true nature of why such an assignment was created for their year.

It was going really good until the end of the chapter with Hermione and Harry. It is obvious what he is going to say. And do once he is convinced that she is pregnant not be the potion. He is going to "kill" Draco.

I'm glad she told Harry so can be there for her since Draco is not.

I cannot wait for Harry's reaction!
