Wow... I just stumbled upon this story searching for my own one-shot - it has the same name by some strange coincidence yet both stories are very different. I must admit, I was kind of annoyed when I found our stories had the same name, even though yours came first, but now I am glad I read this. Great job, I loved it. And I now think that great minds must think alike to have the same title to their stories. ;)

I love the story. Such a lovely thing that fits into canon...

I can't tell you how much I loved this story. I always knew that there had to be more to the reason Harry and Ginny named Al after Snape besides the fact that he turned out to be a good guy. I also wrote a story that's about how Harry and Ginny named each of their children, and it included a small idea of why Ginny wanted to name her son after Snape, but it's not very descriptive. I think that the fact that Snape was able to keep everyone guessing is what made him such a great character and person.

Excellently done! I've never thought about it before, but it's got to really kill Snape to know that that's his spell that's doing that.
