Holy crap. I only today got back into hetalia for nostalgia purposes and just remembered your fanfics. I can't believe I just learned chapter 9 came out in November today! I've been a huge fan of Breathless and Static. It's my all time favorite hetalia series. I continued to reread it well after I grew out of the fandom for quite sometime. I had scenes memorized (like the sledding, grocery shopping, the kiss in the car) which I would spend hours absorbed in, replaying them in my mind. I had, and still do have a mighty need for this to be a movie. I love the characterization of Arthur and Alfred in it. I really connect with your style of writing, too. It's funny, I've analyzed this fic better than any book I've been assigned at school. The way you described the building tension between Arthur and Alfred is so captivating. The denial and subtleties dished out by Arthur's narration is such a treat to read. I am overjoyed to know that you plan to finish this. Previously, I had accepted that Breathless was abandoned, and decided to let it remain in my heart while moving on to support you with your other works. ( I love Here it Comes is by the way.) Now I look forward to the end. Whether it take another 2 years or more, I'll wait.

Im so glad u updated! Ive reread both static and breathless many times. This chapter made me so nervous. I knew there was no way that alfreds parents could be ok with his coming out but it was still nerve wracking. The way u describe everything i could feel the dads harsh stare. I hope arthurs coming out to his parents goes better. Cant wait to see how this goes.
