That was quite an experience. Seldom has a dark story managed to make me feel as empty and emotionally drained as this one and i can't even say if it's Harry's slow way down the Dark road and probably to an early grave or if it's the well... celebration of dishonesty they all hold throughout the published chapters. Nobody ever tries to come out clear, everybody just shuts down, shouts when confronted with his/her deeds and continues to lie to himself and the others more and more.

I can't say that i did not like the writing, it's quite good and despite the mood might have been rather enjoyable, i've just a problem to see this as what i've come to see, read, feel as the world and the charcters of Harry Potter. Seeing them hurting each other so deeply by staying on a course into disaster is hurting me too, while at the same time i can't help but want to read on to see if not at the last moment something unforeseen will happen and all will turn out well and despite the scars this will undoubtably cause to linger they will be able to make a clear cut and start anew, maybe even save kind of a friendship to Ron, even when i don't believe in that.
Oh apropos Ron... yeah the suffering hero, the wonderful boy who was wronged, who was BETRAYED... for Fart's sake... that moron STILL is an illoyal, selfish oaf good for nothing but devastating food supplies... HE doesn't react good when betrayed? That's very saddening as he then must freak out every morning when taking a look at his friggin' traitor's face... time and time again he has left Harry helpless, alone, facing death and worse and he dares to feel betrayed? Tough stuff. That sick, greedy, lazy prick should have been Dragon dung after First Task in Fourth Year not being welcomed back to try and wreak further havok! The whole mess his actions caused in sixth year was proof enough and in this story he still hasn't made anything worth accepting his "apology".

I guess all in all it's like the irresistable magnetism of car wreckages or great fires... you don't want to stare, but you can't avert your eyes either. But... how can i really feel good about feeling absolutely down and depressed?

Veritaserum takes a month to make, Snape told Umbritch in front of everyone in OOTP. I know it makes no difference. I'm wondering if they're feeling the least bit of sympathy for Snape now that they've hung out spying on people for a few days - ok not sympathy but understanding, because Harry sure seems to want to just start killing people instead of hanging around spying on them any longer. :)

Oh gosh! I feel sort of bad for Harry though :( great chapter! Please update soon! :)
