For something that had no sex, this was ridiculously erotic - and I don't even have an oral fixation. The characterisation of Garrus and Shepard are fantastic; I can see exactly how the dynamic has changed between them here based on knowledge from the game and I especially like Garrus' internal monologue on the differences between turian and human social signals. Loved it!

Really liked this story! Found this through the Bioware forums, and think it's definitely one of the more in-character Garrus stories I've ever read. :)

In the game the bit of dialogue at the end of your fiction seems to come out of the blue, and it's a bit disconcerting, especially considering that neither of them has an alien fetish, thus physical attraction is hard to justify unless there is something more. Your story provides a perfect background for it, and both Shepard and Garrus are really in character (I confess that at first I didn't like Garrus's defensive reaction when she suggests that his teeth are sharp, bur it does sound like him, especially if he's cranky because of that headache, and Shepard's reaction is exactly what I would expect from her).

There wasn't even a need for full out sex here to get my heart pounding. Innuendo, just innuendo, worked into the actions and into the character's thought-ahem, Garrus' oral...uh, calibrations. I love how it bordered on suggestion and the way you value (metaphorical, if you like) caresses which carry the weight of something else.

I could analyse this story for all the bits I like and it will be an entire essay. Whatever it is, I LOVE this fic! Thanks for making my seat in the office...a little...warmer. ;) It made my day.
