D: ...this one tricks me. It starts so fun and I love how random Qunari keep poping up in your stories but then it gets all sad and I end up all T_T. Cause Hawke/Varric makes me happy and Hawke/Varric fail makes me sad. It's good, but I'm sad. And I keep rereading it by accident! ...I need to go find H/V smut now. Or fluff. Or reread that parent one you wrote.

...could there be a happy ending? surely, there are half-dwarfs running around somewhere on thedas. if you have half elven kids like feynrial (srry, can't spell that name for anything), surely there can be slightly taller than average for a dwarf hybrids?
