I am all for a Azazel/Mystique story, in fact in away Azazel was & would always be Mystique true match. When it comes to Cherik, I think they are both right about a lot of things but are wrong about everything else. Neither of Cherik’s ways had a chance at working because they had no place in the real world. In some ways Erik is hiding behind his hatred for humans because he doesn’t want to deal with the fact that the very man who was the instrument behind his suffering was not a human but a mutant. As for Alex, I totally understand where he is coming from in this chapter, while Charles is by no means innocent and he made a lot of mistakes, especially where Raven is concerned, at least the one thing he never did was abandon her. If she will not even try to see that Alex had a point concerning Charles & even go as far as to think that it is no big deal that she abandon her brother/left him to die on a beach in the middle of no where with no medical help close by then she has no right to resent/judge Alex for not even trying to see her point…in some ways Raven behaved no better than an greedy opportunist waiting for the better offer to come along.

I really enjoys this fic. At first I thought it was going to be a prequel to Monsters but then I started to realise that certain things were different...which actually made it more interesting. And I was really glad when you decided to go with a happy ending, I was dreading the part where Kurt would end up separated from his parents but then it didn't happen so yay!

re-read this ff for countless time and I think I'm falling in love with him again, charming classy evil but really is a cinnamonroll who can play piano ,intimidating look but actually is a gentel one (I think a man who can play piano is so classy and a bit sexy, dont know why)

I always enjoy to read the story of this two, how they met, how they felt about each other at first, how their relationship growly slowly and how the things go on.

It seems you've made quite a few people fall in love with this family as well. This is such a beautiful alternate take on a family that the comics depict as the worst to want to have a reunion. I love how much you got into minor characters who barely spoke, if they even did, in the movies. I can almost feel the bonds between them. There were several moments that made me wish I could draw so that I could visually see them. This is my second time reading through this, and I think I'm ready for a third :) Thank you for sharing your story.
