| melyons chapter 43 . 8/11/2018 My kids let me say “kwin-no-ah” for the longest time. They got funny smiles on their faces when I asked for the quinoa salad all the time. I don’t think the elderly deli ladies knew any better than I. Then one day a young lad corrected my pronunciation and my daughter laughed and laughed. I guess it was payback. For what I’m not sure. I never had a problem correcting their spelling and grammar ;). It’s interesting that this time reading through the story that I understood you weren’t saying keen-wah kwin-no-ah. LOL |
