LOL. Cap doesn't let his boys suffer alone. Especially when they wake him up at 3.30am.

I suspect that he's possibly finding it a bit passe by now - trying to counsel the guilt from one or other of his Paramedics feeling guilty about the other getting injured or almost injured or remotely possibly injured.

Enjoyed this especially the addition of Cap. I love his character. Funny how you think the writer has control over the characters and situations when it's really the characters who have control over the writer! Sometimes they behave in the most unexpected ways!

And that's the measure if a person who can have crap happen to them, learn from it and move on cause stuff happens no matter what you do. Good lesson.

And I totally understand how a writer THINKS they are in control of a story but it's really those characters on paper who really call the shots. And in this case, appearance is a welcome one. Good job!

You are such a great story teller. I love the interaction between the characters.

I can definitely relate to Roy's guilt. I'm not a paramedic or even in the medical field, but how many times have I screwed up and felt bad about doing so? Love reading stories that get into Roy's head in particular. I've tried writing a few myself. It's fun seeing how each author relates to Roy. Write some more.

I love when Cap steps in makes everything right with the world again this was a great addition to the original story because of time constantraints with television I often wonder how much of the story gets cut out for commercials which ends up changing the feel of the story!
