Had to look up these songs and that Def Leppard song, not what I thought it would sound like based on the lyrics and reading them in this chapter but it worked and it made sense that the Goblins would like it so much. This was fun. I wish there was like a deleted scene or something where we could see what she had been doing in the kitchen all day, just you know, fun silly things. This was a great chapter and I love it.

Okay I think I've reviewed before and I know the story is done. But. I don't think it's right that Jareth should consider mortal swear words to be a problem. Swearing in general, I get. As our girl says, a queen shouldn't do that.

But Sarah is human. Jareth loves her. The human-ness of the language shouldn't bother him. I get that other fae might not like it, or consider it crass or whatever, but I think the issue maybe could've been framed differently.

Maybe it's cuz I'm autistic or 1/2 black but it makes me think of a white dom marrying a black sub & then feeling embarrassed when she uses AAVE, just because his white friends think it's "ghetto." I don't know if that makes sense especially cuz I think you're British and it's not a perfect analogy...but it's my thought.

However, I love this story. I'm rereading it as my "I'm sick" pick me up and I love it. And the kitties. And that Jareth makes a point to do pre- and after-care to help her.
