Very exciting when this updated, have to say. Definitely still around, however long it takes for each chapter. You have to look after yourself too, you're much more important than any fic. Take care and know you'll still have some loyal readers regardless of how long you need to take to write each update. Hell it could be a decade and I'd still react with "oh sweet a My Way update!"

I absolutely understand about the depression, I'm only just coming through the other side of my most recent really rough patch, so, Big Mood

I am honestly content with either posting method, I like reading big chunks at once, but i know posting more frequently with smaller updates can be easier sometimes (plus throws enough meat to the ghost sharks to keep them off your back for a second, right? Lol).

So whichever method works best for you is fine in my book, I'm just thrilled you're going to be posting again soon! I'll probably read it as soon as I get the notification that it's up either way.

It's been awhile since then.

With all my heart I hope you find time and inspiration to write the next chapter 3 I'm constantly amazed at how well written this is. Stories this good are so hard to come by, especially when they're fanfictions. I'm very excited for Arbiter's Grounds and Zant's little speech before the boss fight.

NOOOOOO. Not a cliffhanger! Okay but seriously this is beautiful. I mean the grammar! The SPELLING. The phrases and way of speech you use is historically accurate and your characters are amazing. I always love to see how people are going to portray Link because Nintendo didn't give him much of a personality and I think you're spot on.

Maeva is fricking awesome and it's nice to see an OC that the author isn't simply living vicariously through. She has her faults and her strengths and she's a PERSON. I haven't read Twilight Child but I adore this OC.

The back story you've given her as well as how you write her interactions with Midna (who was also beautifully portrayed, 10/10) is wonderful and makes her very 3D. Zant is fantastically evil and I can't wait to hear more about the rest of the Nine and her life in the Twilight realm. (I also REALLY want to know what the heck Link said to Fado, it's killing me here.)

To sum it all up this story is amazeballs and I hope you post a new chapter really soon! (Sorry for the horrendously long review by the way).

Well that was a great read. I'm already really attached to the feel that this story has, you know? Even though it hasn't been that long. I think I might be a little bit in love with the dynamics of this little party. I don't know, I have a thing for OC stories, and this one didn't disappoint. It's a really interesting take on the Twilis, with the Nine and all that... and I really enjoy Maeva as a character, flaws and all. She's really well written. (I'm really tired, excuse me for the rambling...)

Obviously I'd like to read more, but considering the length of the chapters, I can only imagine how long it must take you to write them. So, good luck with that!

Also I loved the chapter. The character development for Maeva is awesome and all I want right now is Link/Maeva, it makes me so happy! Please don't wait another two and a half years to update again! I can't handle it!

Oh gosh, I didn't mean to rush you! I was so surprised to see a new chapter so quickly after I returned your message. Not that I'm complaining, of course. Did people really complain about Maeva's change in attitude being too abrupt? I almost can't fathom that; I thought it was perfect and it put this goofy smile on my face when I read it. Your explanations of Maeva's motivations and personality and fear of rejection; they all made so much sense I almost couldn't hold in the anticipation of seeing her progression from here on out. You have her so fleshed out (PUN NOT INTENDED, PUN NOT INTENDED, OGAWD ABORT ABORT), and that's why I've become so taken with her. As for this chapter, I can see that there's some burgeoning romance finally going on. Nyoh hoh hoh. Also to DOUBLY reiterate how impressed I am with your OC, I was totally unfazed by Midna not sharing any sort of romantic affiliation with Link, and even found myself rooting fervently for Maeva when she felt her jealousy at their interaction; keep in mind that usually I'm a silly obsessed squealing MidLink shipper, so the fact that I'm so unaffected by this speaks volumes of JUST HOW AWESOME MAEVA IS. But this chapter also gave me an inkling...it's not going to lean towards a sad ending, is it? Sort of like the actual Twilight Princess with Midna. Because I can see this going there, and I'm so bad at handling bittersweet endings and it's already happened in the game and ogod. Obviously, however, you're free to end this however the hell you want because it'll be amazing regardless. But ogeez I hope they end up happy. OKAY I HAVE GOT LEARN HOW TO STOP RANTING YOU'REAWESOMEGOODLUCKWITHTHENEXTUPDATEBYE

I just wanted to chime in and state how utterly and sinkingly in love I still am with this story. I realize better than anyone how hard it is to keep up writing when inspiration is hard to rummage for at the best of times and motivation is impossible to stir at the worst, especially something so lengthy and well-written (and SO AMAZING) as this. Even if real life's taken hold of you, or the story simply holds no more appeal for you to continue, which I totally and completely understand, I just wanted to reiterate how taken I still am with this piece. Maeva is quite possibly still one of - if not the - most interesting and intricately developed OC's I've ever had the pleasure to read about. An update would answer my wildest dreams, but rest assured that's not the purpose of the review; I only wanted to express my appreciation of the story as it is thus far. I'd read your Avalon Code fics if I played the game at all simply because it's more writing from YOU, but...you know, I might even just do that anyway without prior knowledge. YOU'RE THAT EPIC.

I came back and reread a bit of this story, just because of how awesome it is, hehe. My dearest wish is for there to be an update, but I understand, of course, if you've got too many real-life obligations (or if you simply can't muster up the motivation or interest; heck, I know that happens way too often to me, so I can't talk). Just wanted to let you know again how much I love your writing. Maeva is literally one of the most well-developed, down to earth characters I have had the pleasure of encountering on this site.
