Mandarin Fiend chapter 5 . 4/22/2017 What a cool story! Shame you didn't continue :) |
StrangePointOfView chapter 5 . 11/17/2014 This is the best post-war fic I've yet to read. It's a little strange they don't have the children they do in canon, but it's also very creative with brilliant characterization and an intriguing plot. |
FranticHamster chapter 5 . 1/9/2014 nice story original and interesting. |
Katara97 chapter 5 . 11/18/2011 I absolutely love this! I hope you'll continue. ] |
Justice Tokidoki chapter 4 . 8/24/2011 Great chapter! The scene with katara was awesome! The tension is definately growing thicker... |
Kimberly T chapter 5 . 8/22/2011 It was inevitable that Yangchen would encounter schoolyard bullies; they thrive everywhere, but in regimented societies in particular. In contrast, Ursa seems to be making friends with relative ease down in the Southern Water Tribe. I'm sure Zuko and Sokka are sending letters back and forth about the young'uns; it would be nice to see excerpts of those letters pop up now and then in the course of the story. |
MoonClaimed chapter 5 . 8/22/2011 Another great chapter! I really loved your characterization. Very believable, and I really like your OCs. D |
Endymion2314 chapter 5 . 8/22/2011 Nice chapter, fun battle/spar. I have the feeling the School Mistress is going to regret enforcing the self sufficiency rule. A dollar says Katara included the method of ripping moisture from the air in the waterbending scrolls Yangchen has. Although she's studying firebending to a small degree I'd love to see her experiment with the more...energetic applications of water (Jets, Steam, Steam explosion). |
RedBeardJim chapter 5 . 8/22/2011 So, are we also going to be seeing the exchange of Lu Ten and Kuei's son, or did that get shelved for the time being? |
AngelForm chapter 5 . 8/22/2011 Review up on SB. |
GeshronTyler chapter 5 . 8/22/2011 Ursa looks to have gotten the better deal for now, being more or less accepted. No doubt Yangchen, and her new friend, are going to have more problems, some likely quite serious, with the Fire Nation bigots and supremists. I expect the more subtle, and dangerous situations will arise in Ba Sing Se. The South Pole City is most likely too constrained, the populace to known to one another, to infiltrate any operatives, unless they're already there. I liked the confrontation between Yangchen and Li Bei. Truly overt incidents will probably be rare there after this, since the Academy (and it's Staff, and students) should be closely watched by the Fire Lord, or his agents. Thanks, read you next time. |
Somariel chapter 5 . 8/22/2011 Somehow, I have a feeling that Zuko is going to be *quite* annoyed with Li Bei and her family if/when he finds out what happened. |
MoonClaimed chapter 4 . 8/21/2011 This has been very, very interesting so far! Your story is original and well written, and I'm looking forward to future updates. Especially with THAT ending. Ho boy. |
Somariel chapter 4 . 8/20/2011 Eep! Sounds like there's some conspiracy to restart the war or something going on. I really liked this chapter. |
GeshronTyler chapter 4 . 8/15/2011 Interesting times ahead to be had by all, I see. I like what you've come up with to expand on the societies and cultures of the Avatar's World. Nice scene with the husband and wife "spat" between Aang and Katara. Characterization of canon and original characters seems to fit well. I wonder if the Dai Li will be the only conspirators, or if there's other cabals among the other nations wanting to stir things up. Azula having a positive role to play would be interesting as well I think. Thanks, read you next time. |
