Guest chapter 1 . 11/12/2018 Wowza! You should be a published author if you aren’t already! |
cherish15 chapter 1 . 12/15/2011 Very nice. Interesting pairing and I really like the characterization and emotion. :) Thanks for the read. Cherish |
0tree0 chapter 1 . 9/5/2011 Simply stunning my dear. Two other people have pointed out my favourite line, but just to re-affirm... wonderfully well written. The metaphors are beautifully done, well done indeed! I thank you for sharing such a breathtaking piece. The characterisation was perfect. Bravo! |
CocoaB chapter 1 . 8/30/2011 Wow - this is just beautiful! I so love these words - Was it your intention to weave into my path such joy? And was it you who added this sweet ache, just a pinch of a darker shade, into the batch of dye into which you threw my thread before it touched your loom? It melts so perfectly into the rush of love that I know as I look upon those dearest to me. At this point in my life, that brought tears to my eyes - but - they were tears of joy! Thank you! CocoaB |
ziggy3 chapter 1 . 8/12/2011 Perfect. Beautifully told. I have to just pick out one very, very special image: Can you see, Vairë, how you have blessed me? Was it your intention to weave into my path such joy? And was it you who added this sweet ache, just a pinch of a darker shade, into the batch of dye into which you threw my thread before it touched your loom? That made me envious. Wish I'd written that. Breathtaking. |
Little black lamb chapter 1 . 7/27/2011 It was nice and sweet. Lovely piece thanks for posting it. |
nim draug chapter 1 . 7/25/2011 This was beautiful, his voice was perfect! :) x |
Alpha Ori chapter 1 . 7/25/2011 What a beautifully written tale. It seems to me that Legolas is not quite mature enough to understand what Elrond is feeling, and yet he does, ultimately, at least to an extent. My sincere congratulations. |
Lady Ginger chapter 1 . 7/24/2011 Another beautifully written story... Thank you, again! |
Grey Pigeon chapter 1 . 7/24/2011 I seriously can't express how thankful I am, dear... you have written something that goes straight to my heart and I can't help but rub my eyes. These characters show independence on their own, but also some traits of us two, I think... I see the similarities. "Elrond's" birthday gave me a lot to think about and when I read this about 3.30 a.m this night, I could only stay in silence and feel how good and true these musings of his were. I do understand. I think I understood before, at least a tiny bit of that, but we do differ in what we think best to express in given moment. Legolas would always ask Elrond what's the matter, even if the tears were those of joy. And - in this fic and in someplace else - he would always be there and would still love him. Thank you for this and thank you for being you. Never be anything else but you. |
