Oh my gosh. Please, please, /please/ pick this back up. This is so good, and well written, and it's got a perfect balance of humour, and side notes, and character quirks ugh.

Wow, you've done an amazing job of writing first person narrator from the POV of Alfred, and you've really captured his sense of humor. Also, I love A&A fics with mutual one-side love affairs. Poor Arthur, thinking he's hopelessly in love with a straight guy. Poor Alfred, too clueless to notice that his feelings are returned. If you ever return to writing this fic, I'm really looking forward to the moment when they finally figure it out. Please, don't leave us on this cliffhanger!

One odd thing in this chapter... Alfred is complaining about the effects of being awake for 13 hours? Most people are awake for 16 hours in a day. Is that a typo or is Alfred just really lazy? Wait, nevermind, I think I've answered my own question :P
