That.. Last chapter killed me. I was lowkey hoping for them to somehow get together.

Not much new here to point out, but it is nice seeing a progression of events~

I guess this portrayal kind of gave Russia his initial views of people in power? Though he has never been shown to have sexual interest in anyone in canon, he has officially done humiliating and violent things when in power. So Mongolia could be seen as who influenced him on this norm, in this story.

Though Russia's mental stability had definitely crumbled a lot more by the time he had such a position, and thereby he acted a lot more childish with his power, later. With more innocence, but more violence, too.

Moving on up to chapter 4! Good expectations~

Righy-o~ Not commenting on that, then. Though this -was- the main plot drive in this chapter, so it definitely cannot just be removed. A chronologically equivalent replacement, perhaps, but too much effort spoils the fun, so eh. I can accept that!

I do not like how OOC Romano was throughout the story. Oh wait, this isn't Romano, is it...?
Ahh. Well, the vocabulary and behaviour in the first part pointed towards it.
Captivity and rape can break a child's mind, and force them to go completely numb to everything, as if shell-shocked.
Or make them extremely reclusive, and broken. Possibly toying with their ability to be socially adept for the rest of their life.
But Russia definitely does not possess the prideful and over-confident attitude needed to be sassy and rude in his situation, especially as a mere child.

Lastly, what "sins"? At that point in history, Rus' was still only beginning to come together as a nation, from its' bickering, different components. And barely managed to fend off invasions from neighbouring empires and nations. It had not had time to get into wars of its' own, yet.

I like your style of writing, especially Mongolia's, though the historical inaccuracy is so intense that this is easier passed off as an AU where two regular people just have weird parents that called them nation names.

Back then, cursing was not something practiced in Russia. (Rus' at the time. Though Russia may have represented Novgorod, the sort of 'capital' after Kiev.) In fact, Mongols actually were the ones that introduced a lot of curses into the Russian language, but later.
Mostly to use on Russians. Unsurprisingly.
And absolutely no child, even from common villages, cursed. If they ever said anything inappropriate, they were punished in accordance.

Also, pubs were not a thing. And women were always kept within families, looked proper, and had to act mature and responsible. Except on ladies' meetings, where they acted more free and childish.
By no means were there any whores.
