I love it. Mystique is perfectly in character and I love her role as the poor innocent bystander. And frankly, I can't blame Magneto for his actions, because he raises some very good if slightly creepy points. The whole thing is sort of funny in a this-is-not-funny-at-all way, if that makes sense. Your writing is short and to the point as well, which I greatly admire. Easily a favorite. :)

Very intense. Knowing about Magneto's past generally tends to make him a rather sympathetic character, even when he's threatening to destroy humanity. Nice fic.
