Probably my favorite Jeff/Annie angst story ever. Because this is who they are. I've read all your Jeff/Annie stories, by the way, and enjoyed every one of them. Thank you for contributing to my (newly discovered) favorite ship :)

Ummm, so it's 2015 and this is amazing and I just really, really wish you'd do a second chapter or something. I need closure! I love what you did with Annie's character, letting her kind if grow up and go her own way, even I it was kind of bitter. I JUST NEED MORE PLEASE.

That cant be it, everything was so good! I'm having one of those moments where you see a really good movie and you wished it didn't end but a part of you doesn't want a sequel because it was so good, and how could it have measured up? You know? Anyways this was great.

Reading this was fantastic. Community is often just so hilarious that it's interesting to see the underside of the character dynamics, all the hurt and anxiety and guilt, without being over the top and fundamentally messing up Annie and Jeff's core... Annie-and-Jeff-ness. I love how whatever they are to each other doesn't exist in a vacuum, how it's set within this tangled mess of the study group. I also really like how this plays with and against the typical idea of the "summer transformation" - the changes they undergo may seem small, but they're totally realistic, and of course there's something at the center of their odd relationship that doesn't change at all. Last of all, that double perspective is great! You got me loathing Jeff in the Annie section, but then you turned it around in the second half and made me feel sorry for the guy, and just as keyed up and twitchy as him for that first meeting of the new semester, a moment that hangs just beyond the bounds of the fic (a good place, I think, for it to be). Great stuff.

This was wonderful and I could really hear the character voices. I agree with other reviews though, this story begs to be continued. Thanks for sharing!

I liked this story. I think my fave part was the idea of Annie all dressed up and looking hot and having a one-night stand. It left me hoping that Jeff got wind of it somehow.

That said, this story begs to be continued. Please do!
